The Biblical Mandate of Justice

God identifies with the poor. Do you?
Is justice a buzz word or a scriptural mandate?

Willow believes in wholistic ministry. That is, we believe in caring for the whole person. What does this mean for you?

As individuals, we have a responsibility to:
• Study the heart of God and the life of Jesus
• Respond by giving ourselves on behalf of the poor and oppressed.

As a church, we have a responsibility to:
• Steward our resources through due-diligence with our partner ministries
• Respond out of abundance and sacrifice to help reconcile people to God

What is the Global Connections approach at Willow?

• Partner with local churches already addressing challenges in their communities
• Provide funding grants, gifts-in-kind, and other resources to meet local needs and priorities
• Help our church partners increase the scale, effectiveness, and sustainability of their ministries

How is this funded?

The year end fund 2008, collected from December 1 to January 31 of each year supports the work of official Willow partners.

How are partners determined?

Willow has partnerships with churches, church networks and faith-based organizations. Each organization goes through an extensive process before being accepted as a Willow partner. Partners are accountable to the Global Connections staff and board throughout the year by providing ministry updates and reports.
