Safe Families
Willow Creek North Shore is partnering with Safe Families for Children to voluntarily open their homes to meet the needs of children and families in our area who are in crisis.
If you are new to Safe Families, take a moment to review the information here and enjoy the stories of a few of our Willow Creek North Shore Safe Families. Start by reading What is Safe Families?
Also, we have a Monthly Support Dinner for all Safe Families the 2nd Sunday of the month. Our monthly dinners provide a place where our “Safe Family Community” share fellowship and support with each other. Support dinners are open to all–approved Safe Families, those who provide support to Safe Families, and those who are interested in finding out what Safe families are all about. We have new people every month! Childcare and dinner is provided with an RSVP. Email Debbie (arnspong@att.net) with questions and to get our Safe Family updates!

To become a Safe Family, please download the Application and Reference Form.
If you are a certified Safe Family, you will find the Safe Families Parent Handbook helpful.
Once you apply to become a Safe Family, you will go through a brief certification process that includes a background check and training. While Safe Families provide a tremendous service to those they help, we have found that Safe Families often are the beneficiaries of blessings they never imagined. If you want to be involved but feel you don’t have the time to serve as a Safe Family right now, you can volunteer to support other Safe Families by providing sitting or other services.
