Willow Creek North Shore

Frank Salathe

Assistant Director of Operations

Hi there - I have been on staff at Willow Creek Community Church - North Shore since November, 2009, and my primary responsibilities are to assist with the day to day operations of the Church. This includes working with volunteers and the FAST (facility setup team) high school students to turn our space into a welcoming place for our guests - for worship, classes, dinners, meetings and special events. I am privileged to work with our volunteers for Seeds (our book store), Harvest (our Sunday food court), Guests Hosts, and the Traffic Team. In addition, I am excited about the opportunities to help with the improvements to our facilities here.

I grew up in Pensacola, Florida, (world’s whitest sand beaches) and have been in Chicagoland since graduating college at the Illinois Institute of Technology. My wife Lisa and I live in Glenview with our two sons, Tyler and Evan, and we have attended Willow since the Spring of 2005. One of my most cherished memories is traveling with a group from this Church to Waveland, Mississippi, to help serve the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

I was told that all male employees here at Willow Creek North Shore are required to have facial hair - hence the mustache (just kidding - but not a bad requirement). I feel honored to be a member of the staff here, and am humbled by the continual efforts and servanthood of the many volunteers that I have the opportunity to work alongside.
