Greetings!
I have lived in small towns, medium sized cities and large cities. I grew up in Wisconsin and when I was about 12 years old my family moved into the heart of downtown Chicago. What a change that was for me! It was a time of growth and many new experiences.
I graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a degree in psychology and business. I made some very good friends at college that I am still close to – what you probably don’t know is that a couple of them attend this church! I have been married for 28 years to my husband, Jim.
I have been on staff here at Willow North Shore since the fall of 2007. I began working in Compassion and Justice and later moved into Community Care; which is a part of Adult Ministries. I currently work in the areas of benevolence, Tuesday night workshops, and counselor referrals. I also get the fun task of doing the ordering of products that stock our Fair Trade Market in Seeds. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people and in helping them to grow personally and spiritually. It is an honor to be able to participate in God’s work on a daily basis here on the north shore!
