Hi! Some things you may want to know about me. I grew up in the Historic state of Virginia. I have a BA degree from Averett University in Danville, VA and an MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in North Carolina. I have been married to David for 17 years and have 3 children SaraAnn (15), Allen (13) and Hope (9). We have lived in the Chicago area for 6 years.
I have been working with children and teenagers since I was 16 years old. I have been here at Willow Creek Community Church - North Shore in Promiseland since 2007. I have a heart and passion for children to know Jesus as their Forever Friend. One of my other passions is our volunteers. I love serving our God with volunteers who love kids and want to impact their life. I enjoy training and helping volunteers grow in their own relationship with Jesus.
My responsibilities are Volunteer recruiting and training. It brings me great JOY to walk through Promiseland and see small groups of kids with their leaders reading scripture, praying and building community. It is an honor for me to serve here on the North Shore.
