Hey everyone! Some things you might not know about me: First, I’m from the South – born in Utah, grew up in Texas and Oklahoma, and went to Baylor for my undergraduate. I call myself a Texan, and while I love Chicago, I miss Texas! Christa and I married in 2000, and have 2 boys: Carter and Ethan.
I’ve been leading worship since 1995, and while I studied piano in school, I usually lead from the guitar. I came to Willow Creek Community Church - North Shore in 2007 and love the energy, the way that we pour ourselves out to the world, and the way that our church has people across the spiritual spectrum.
I’m responsible for our weekend team, campus communication, and leading our congregation in the weekend experience in various ways – from leading worship to serving as a host. I lead worship twice per month, and look each weekend at our entire campus to help us work together. My spiritual gifts are leadership, teaching, and administration.
I love it here! I’m an intense guy, and I take what we do seriously – and I’m so blessed by the way that our team rallies each and every week. I LOVE this church!
